Danielle Easly Nye is President and founder of DANI, Inc., a Bend company that creates natural home and bath products with the purest ingredients available. DANI was founded in 1996 and is now available in spas, gift stores and natural food stores nationwide.
DANI is committed to being a good steward of the earth in every business decision they make. In addition, DANI supports 1% for the Planet, a growing global movement of companies that donates 1% of their sales to a network of environmental organizations worldwide.
Danielle regularly presents DANI's sustainable business practices to local organizations to share her knowledge and experience with other business leaders in the Bend community.
A graduate of Portland's Catlin Gabel School, Danielle credits the experiential and inspiring education she received there to her entrepreneurial spirit and love of the natural environment. She is honored to join the Board of Trustees for Cascades Academy of Central Oregon to support the mission of the school and the significant role it plays in Bend's community.
Danielle received a BA in English Literature from the College of Idaho in 1991 and an MAT in Elementary Education specializing in Middle School from Oregon State University in 1995.
Danielle embraces the outdoor lifestyle Bend so naturally encourages and enjoys snowboarding, skiing, hiking, camping, fishing and roasting marshmallows in addition to reading, knitting, playing piano and spending time with her husband and three children.
