Kelly graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Physical Education and Sports Medicine. After college she worked as an Athletic Trainer for Orange Coast College and Huntington Beach High School before taking on an on-site office manager role for a construction company in Southern California.
Still searching for the perfect job, Kelly began working for Nike. Her 6 years at Nike included retail sales, EKIN or technical rep working with accounts such as Foot Locker, US Training Manager where she helped open 11 Niketowns in the US and Europe, and Nike Equipment Sales in the Bay Area.
In 2000 Kelly "retired" to become a full time mom to son Parker and daughter Adison. The Tanguays moved to Bend in April of 2002, and took advantage of the opportunity to raise their children in Bend and all that it has to offer! Kindergarten brought Parker and then Adison to Cascades Academy where everyone found their school "home". With extra hours to fill, Kelly needed a taste of her past life and took on the CACO auction and other volunteer opportunities which led her to her next job in the CACO Front Office.
It has been an amazing experience and opportunity to work with the teachers and staff at CACO as well as being a part of her kids' daily life at school.
