Kindergarten Admission Process

Thank you for your interest in Cascades Academy of Central Oregon. We hope the following outline will help make the application process as easy as possible.

Step 1: Learn about Cascades Academy

• Research our website. Don't miss the school video and slide show.
• Call the school with any additional questions.
• Call the school to schedule a tour of our campus.
• Request an application from the admissions office at info@cascadesacademy.org
  or download a Kindergarten application.

Step 2: Visit the School

• We welcome visits any time of year.
• Parent visits typically last 30-45 minutes with one of our school administrators.

Step 3: Submit an Application

• Submit all application materials including the application form, application fee, student records, teacher recommendation and flexible tuition application (if applicable).
• Once we receive a completed application, we will confirm your child's participation in our Kindergarten Meet the Teacher Day.

Step 4: Kindergarten Admissions a.k.a. "Meet the Teacher Day" February 1, 2012

• Prospective kindergarten students spend the afternoon with the kindergarten teacher and another faculty member doing group activities as well as individual assessments.

Step 5: Initial acceptances will be mailed by February 10, 2012.

Step 6: Rolling Acceptances Based on Availability

• After initial notifications on February 10, 2012, we will continue to accept applications for any classes that are not full.
