Cascades Academy launched its first school-wide weblog in the fall of 2007 under the title of "The Cascades Academy Spawn - Words on a Community's Vision." The goal of this project is to inform parents of events going on here at school, whether these events relate to academics, community service, outdoor education, student achievement or a myriad of other themes. The Spawn does not function like a typical blog in that the communication is one way for the time being. In time, we will experiment with opening certain posts to comment from the Cascades Academy community. For now we hope that this weblog helps you better understand some of the amazing things that the students and teachers are doing here at school on a daily basis.
